The 97th Contracting Squadron, Altus Air Force Base, Oklahoma, intends to issue a Request for Quote (RFQ) for acquisition of 3 Articulated Boom Lifts at Altus AFB, Oklahoma.
This is a brand name or equal requirement IAW FAR 52.211-6. The preferred product is "Genie Z-45/25J DC", optioned to meet the salient characteristics; but a product that meets the salient characteristics listed below and in Attachment 1 - Salient Characteristics, will also be considered technically acceptable.
To ensure warranty coverage remains valid, please submit the required documentation verifying your status as an authorized seller.
The Articulated Boom Lifts must comply with the salient characteristics, specifically:
1. Must have a max working height of at least 51 feet.
2. Must have a platform width of 6 feet.
3. Must have a basket weight rating of 500lbs.
4. Must have Zero Tailswing.
5. Must have 5 ft articulating jib.
6. Must have 160° hydraulic platform rotation and self-levelling platform.
7. Must be electric/battery operated.
8. Must be able to have a charger that will work with 120 volt outlets.
9. Must be able to work in hangars and outside in dry or wet conditions.
10. Must have foam filled non-marking tires.
11. Must have a safety stop switch for emergency shutdown.
12. Must have adjustable/variable speed control for operator to control speed.
13. Must have Safety Strobe when machine is in operation.
14. Must have a safety horn to warn others that machine is going to move.

Prospective contractors must be registered in the System for Award Management Database (SAM) prior to submission of quotes. Offerors are further advised that failure to register in the DoD SAM prior to submission of proposal will render your firm ineligible for award. Registration requires applicants to have a UEI number. Recommend registering immediately in order to be eligible for timely award.
