Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City owns Mountain Lake and is looking for a qualified individual and/or company to contract with to operate and market the facilities. From the 1st day of March through the last day of October, the facilities shall be open during all daylight hours, every day. From the 1st day of November through the last day of April, the facilities shall be open during all daylight hours on the 1st and 3rd weekend of each month. The City will pay a lump sum fee for these management services (to be determined). Manager will be responsible for all expenses related to the operation, supervision and management of the property. The Manager will be responsible for maintaining the facilities, including grounds maintenance. The City will cover the costs of repairs to City owned facilities above $100.00, subject to approval by the City Manager up to $24,999.99 and the City Commission for anything over $25,000.00. The Manager will be responsible for user services, including taking reservations, selling fishing permits, checking fish limits and measuring the size of fish removed from the property. The Manager will be responsible for giving a share of property use fees (to be determined) to the City each month. The Manager shall manage the grounds, restrooms, and any food and beverage service. Manager shall also be responsible for payroll of its personnel, fire prevention, security, routine repairs, janitorial services, promotions, and advertising. The Manager shall maintain the water level and must be on premises or notify the City if he or she will not be on premises for more than 24 hours to ensure lake water levels can be monitored.
