Specifications include, but are not limited to: Northwest Regional Education Service District is purchasing a two-story, 51,140 SF former commercial office building with the intention of renovating it to current codes and standards to be used as an educational facility and administrative space. Funding for this project will be from grants from a variety of sources and from internal funds. The District's construction budget for this project, not including soft costs, is $10 million. The architect contract period is expected to begin immediately up selection and extend through completion and close-out of the project. It is intended that a General Contractor will be selected using a select-list, qualifications-based lump sum bid process. It is also intended that MEP subcontractors will be design/build under the General Contractor. The District has hired Wenaha Group as the District's Project Manager.
