Specifications include, but are not limited to: o Stand Treatment Area The residual fuel stratification will be changed from a ladder fuel configuration of brush and small diameter trees to scattered ground fuel. The intent is to redistribute fuel loading to allow for a less intense wildfire in the stand while creating a healthier distribution of trees in the Unit. Leave trees will be left in 15’ - 20’ spacing where larger trees are not established. All treated fuel will be dispersed on the ground and less than 6”. Residual fuel further than 10’ from tree can have 2’ – 3’ height of concentration, as long as it will not adversely affect residual trees over 4” DBH. All trees and brush will be severed from the stump and effort made to remove any green limb if below 6” height.
