2. SCOPE The purpose of this RFQ is hire a qualified Contractor to provide rehabilitation services for the College Union Auditorium located at the Klamath Falls, OR Campus. The College Union Auditorium sustained water damage as a result of a water pipe break. The water intrusion caused damage that has resulted in the need for the auditorium stage and its surrounding area to be rehabilitated. Room 124 (East) • Remove and replace existing drywall on walls and ceiling. • Replace existing recessed light fixtures and replace with LED equivalent. • Replace obsolete fire sprinkler heads. • Replace existing access door with 2’ x 2’ access door. • Polish concrete floor surface. • Remove and replace vinyl cove base. • NOTES – Retain/reuse existing fire alarm system components and wiring (strobes, horns, detectors etc.). Retain/reuse existing JCI thermostats and wiring. Room 124I • Remove and replace existing drywall on walls and ceiling. • Remove and replace existing doors and metal frames, quantity two (2). • Remove and replace existing light fixtures and replace with LED equivalent. • Replace obsolete fire sprinkler heads. • Polish concrete floor surface. • Remove and replace vinyl cove base. • NOTES – Retain/reuse existing fire alarm system components and wiring (strobes, horns, detectors etc). Retain/reuse existing JCI thermostats and wiring. Remove and dispose of mirror on east wall. Mirror will not be replaced. Remove existing domestic water pipe that formerly serviced room 124K. Cap pipes in auditorium lobby. (L121) Room 124K • Remove and replace existing drywall on walls and ceiling. • Remove and replace existing doors and metal frames, quantity one (1). • Remove and replace existing light fixtures and replace with LED equivalent. • Replace obsolete fire sprinkler heads. • Polish concrete floor surface. • Remove and replace vinyl cove base. • NOTES – Retain/reuse existing fire alarm system components and wiring (strobes, horns, detectors etc.). Retain/reuse existing JCI thermostats and wiring. Remove existing domestic water pipe that formerly serviced room 124K. General • Door lock hardware will be furnished and installed by Oregon Tech. • Room identification plaques will be furnished and supplied by Oregon Tech.
