Deconstruction Contractor is responsible for removal of house in its entirety and as-is condition. This shall include all items inside the house and all construction materials located above grade. Footings, plumbing or any other sub-grade material may be left by Deconstruction Contractor. Any above grade building materials not removed by Deconstruction Contractor shall be removed by others and will result in back charges to the Deconstruction Contractor. Deconstruction Contractor is responsible for identifying and transporting materials to be deconstructed, salvaged, and reused. Remaining materials to be removed, recycled, and disposed appropriately by the Deconstruction Contractor. Deconstruction Contractor to outline a proposed schedule for deconstruction activities. Time is of the essence. Anticipated deadline for deconstruction activities is June 1, 2025. Work must be completed by negotiated completion date or Contract may be cancelled by Benton County without further obligation to Deconstruction Contractor.
