EWEB requires the services of a qualified landscape contractor to maintain approximately 163 acres at 78 sites (129 tax lots) in the Eugene/Springfield area throughout the growing season (May-September). The Contractor shall provide all labor, material, equipment, administrative reporting, and any and all associated cost to perform the Work specified. It is estimated that each EWEB property listed in Exhibit 1 will require 3-4 maintenance visits per year. EWEB may request to utilize the Contractor for additional landscape Work. Work beyond the estimated yearly site visits shall be agreed upon by the Contractor and EWEB, per an amendment to the Contract. The overall hourly rate OR the hourly rates from the Proposer Response Form shall be utilized in the event of additional Work, whichever results in the lower overall rate for the additional work. Landscape maintenance activities will include, but are not limited to mowing, string trimming, bed maintenance, nuisance vegetation management, and debris/refuse cleanup. EWEB will be responsible for maintenance in restricted areas, and cleanup of hazardous materials. Maintenance frequency for the attached sites (Exhibit 1) is categorized as level 3 or 4. Sites categorized as level 4 must be maintained once prior to June 15th, and then monthly as needed until September 30th. Sites categorized as level 5 must be maintained once per month from May through September 3.
