Furnish and install high quality food vending machines and all related equipment as specified. The machines shall be modern, of the latest mechanical/electronic technology, and be in new or near new condition. In no case shall machines older than five (5) years be installed or currently maintained. If requested by District, contractor shall prove equipment age by providing original equipment invoices. All machines shall show, at all times, the Proposer’s name, a local service phone number for reporting malfunctions, the person or office within the Proposer’s organization responsible for refunds, and regular days of the week for re-stocking. Additionally, each machine shall be labeled with an easily visible identification number. The machines and associated equipment shall be operated by Proposer in such a way as fully comply with all Federal, State and Local Laws, as well as, District policies, and USDA regulations. Should any Federal, State, Local Law, or District policies change during the course of the resultant agreement, the Proposer will be required to make themselves aware of the changes and be in compliance.
