PARTITIONS AND FINISHES AT ROOMS 38-42 ARE TO BE DEMOLISHED IN PREPARATION FOR THE NEW WORK. CORRIDOR H11 IS TO BE MODIFIED, WITH THE WIDTH REDUCED IN PORTIONS. MODIFICATIONS AT THE 2HR FIRE BARRIER WALL BETWEEN H11 AND STAIR ENCLOSURE S04 ARE ALSO NECESSARY, WITH THE EXISTING 90 MINUTE 72" DOUBLE-DOOR S04-1 BEING REDUCED TO A SINGLE-LEAF 90 MINUTE 36" DOOR. AT THE NEW RESTROOM AREA, A PORTION OF THE (E) SLAB-ON-GRADE IS TO BE GROUND DOWN TO PROVIDE POSITIVE SLOPE TO DRAINS AT (N) TILE FLOORING. LIMITED DEMO OF (E) SLAB-ON-GRADE IS ALSO REQUIRED FOR TRENCHING OF NEW PLUMBING LINES. NEW PLUMBING FIXTURES AT THE RESTROOM AREA INCLUDES 3 SINKS, 2 WATER CLOSETS, AND 2 SHOWERS. MECHANICAL, ELECTRICAL AND FIRE PROTECTION SYSTEM MODIFICATIONS ARE ALSO PROPOSED TO SUPPORT THE NEW SPACE.
