Design Consultant shall provide design documents from Conceptual and Schematic Design through Design Development and provide a construction cost estimate. The goal of the project is to repurpose existing space into a large flexible wet/damp research lab, 45 seat flexible lab/classroom, testing and materials lab, maker space/shop and product storage. The design consultant will be eligible to continue work through Construction Documents and Construction Administration once the project is fully funded. Scope of Services. At minimum, the scope of services must include a Kick-off Meeting, Existing Conditions Review, Conceptual Design Studies, Schematic Design services, Design Development services, and Order of Magnitude Construction Cost Estimates at end of Schematic Design and Design Development design phases. Proposers are asked to provide a schedule with scope of work based on Proposers practical experience in early phases of design.
