Agency is seeking Offers from qualified offerors to provide professional consulting services in the development and implementation of the Oregon Women’s History Project. The Oregon Women’s History Project consists of 4 Phases: The final document, Oregon Women’s Labor History: A Historic Context Statement 1903- 1990, is attached as Attachment G and should be used to inform the phases associated with this RFP. Phase 1: Concept and Approach completed June, 2024 – The concept and approach was determined through research and review of other approaches throughout the country. The approach is described in the context statement. Phase 2: Context completed June, 2024 – The context focuses on women’s history in Oregon related to paid labor and certain laws and standards related to this history. The context document is Attachment G. Offeror will utilize the concept and approach determined in Phase 1 and the context in Phase 2 to complete the next phase will complete the survey work for the MPD submission. Phase 3: Property Discovery & Survey- will document properties related to the themes in Oregon Women’s Labor History: A Historic Context Statement 1903-1990, reflect the analyzed data from Phases 1 and 2, and inform the property types and registration requirements of the future statewide MPD. If Phase 3 outcomes are insufficient, a contingent Phase 3.1 will be needed to move forward to finalize the deliverable. Contingent Phase 4: Multiple Property Submission and Nominations This Contingent Phase 4 is based on funding and outcomes of Phase 3. Multiple Property Submission including 2 nominations to the National Register of Historic Places - using the concept and approach determined in Phase 1, and 2 and the discovery and survey findings from Phase 3, to complete the MPS submission.
