Alternatives to our current practice for other City venues are expected to be proactive in nature and involve, for example, promoting the venue, identifying and booking potential performers, obtaining sponsors, and generally providing overall management services for events from initial contacts to post-event accounting. Alternatives could include, for example: 1. The City employing a full-service contracted management company that would be responsible year-round for managing and coordinating all aspects of activities conducted at the Gerry Frank | Salem Rotary Amphitheater. In close collaboration with the City, the company would promote the venue, respond to queries, schedule events, resolve conflicts, provide public information, and establish protocols for users. For each event, the company would be responsible, either through its own actions or through agreements with event organizers, for ensuring all aspects of onthe-ground event production are satisfactorily accomplished.
