Specifications include, but are not limited to: With the passage of HB22‐1294, Charter Schools in Colorado will have additional pathways to provide special education services to children with disabilities in charter schools. This legislation will present opportunities for charter schools across the state and will require CSI to establish additional processes and systems to adapt to these changes. The key components of the work: 1) Development of processes and structures to support CSI’s ability to operate as an Alternative AU for special education. 2) Development of processes and structures to determine a charter collaborative or network’s readiness to become their own AU, separate from CSI. 3) Strengthen programmatic and leadership skills of SSPL Directors through coaching, resource development and project management. 4) Special Projects, as assigned.
