Washington County is seeking an experienced provider to provide Spanish-speaking peer delivered services, to the equivalent of 1.0 FTE. The purpose of this peer delivered service is to provide warm handoff (community-based peer outreach at the time of citation) for the WCDP. Provider shall offer the following services: A. Be an integral part of the Deflection Program and participate in Deflection Program meetings; B. Attend potential participant arraignment dates to offer deflection services; C. Assist approved participants in completing the deflection intake process to engage in Deflection Program; D. Facilitate access to ASAM assessment; E. Complete initial outreach within 7 calendar days of citation; 1. Outreach to include phone, text and/or community-based engagement; G. Facilitate access and exposure to SUD support meetings; H. Connect individuals to treatment services and/or other community services; I. Assist with identifying housing resources; J. Provide community-based response to misdemeanor PCS citation events in all of Washington County; K. Provide information to cited individuals about deflection and House Bill 4002 alternatives; L. Communicate with the WCDP to expedite eligibility considerations; M. Must be responsive to culturally specific needs including the ability to complete all the above in both English and Spanish.
