Specifications include, but are not limited to: Through the Intensive Coaching Program, Agency is seeking to provide a diverse, equityoriented, talented team of experienced coaches who will serve in the role of either a Community Steward, Leadership Steward, or a Teaching and Learning Steward. For each participating district, Agency will direct a team of three stewards to work closely with the district leadership to improve academic outcomes for focal student groups while also expanding statewide capacity and alignment. To that end, this model aims to leverage current practitioners’ expertise in establishing focal areas as well as adult learning. These stewards will leverage trust building and transformational leader dispositions to attend to both climate-culture challenges as well as research-based instructional practices. This approach will further evolve past coaching models from a single person supporting the district to one where three distinct roles and focus areas are present. A team of coaches will work alongside school district staff and community members as well as education service districts and Agency staff in order to form a Student Success Team (SST).
