Specifications include, but are not limited to: Oregon Parks and Recreation Department (OPRD) is seeking bids from qualifiedprofessionals to provide unarmed security services for park entrance gate closings duringthe evenings at Pilot Butte State Scenic Viewpoint in Deschutes County, Oregon. The parkentrance gate is closed to park visitors every evening at the hours posted on site and aslisted in Exhibit A, Statement of Work. The unarmed security service shall provide dailyservices to clear the roadway and summit of any motor vehicles belonging to visitors andsecuring the summit road gate with lock and key in the evening once visitors have removedtheir motor vehicles from the premises. The Services will be needed on a seasonal basisfrom approximately March through November each year. OPRD reserves the right to alterthese dates based on Park needs, special events and weather. The Services are furtherdescribed in Exhibit A Statement of Services of Attachment 3 Sample Contract Form.As a result of this solicitation process, OPRD intends to award one contract for theservices described in this Solicitation Document.
