The successful Contractor shall provide services for the loading, transport, treatment, and disposal of hazardous waste generated during City activities to properly manage waste according to all applicable laws and regulations. Delivery of the waste to the landfill is typically provided by the City or their project Contractor, although situations may arise where transport services will be needed to deliver the waste the landfill. Commonly encountered hazardous waste includes, but is not limited to, contaminated soil, asbestos and lead-containing waste and demolition debris, and 55-gallon drums containing soil, water, and other disposal waste (e.g., Tyvek suits, Nitrile gloves) derived from environmental investigations. All services shall be delivered, or work shall be performed on an as needed basis.
