The School Board of Palm Beach County, Florida invites qualified Civil Engineers, licensed in the State of Florida, to perform Civil Engineering Services on Continuing Contract.
Pursuant to FS 287.055(g) (CCNA), this contract will be used for miscellaneous Civil Engineering design services not covered within the scope of a defined project for services, including, but limited to, studies and reports, development of project scope, site plan development, drainage improvements, specifications and cost estimates, value engineering, and general consulting services.

The Scope of Work is for Civil Engineering Services on Continuing Contract and shall be delineated on a project specific basis as defined by the OWNER and further identified on a project specific Short Form Agreement (Exhibit B) which is hereby incorporated herein.
The CONSULTANT shall perform all Work required by the Contract Documents for:
- Preparation of site paving, grading and drainage plans, including roadway, bicycle and pedestrian paths, playgrounds, play fields, play courts, sport fields, covered walkways, and fencing.
- Preparation of site utility plans, including lift stations, gas mains, propane tanks, water and wastewater utility systems, drainage systems, and reclaimed water systems.
- Familiarity with Building Code requirements for educational sites, including accessibility and site geometry requirements.
- Preparation and filing of permits for utility, driveway, site, and drainage construction.
- Familiarity with local and federal flood plain and wetland construction requirements.
- Coordination of surveyors to obtain topographical, boundary and as-built surveys.
- Preparation of as-built grading, utility and drainage plans.
