Security services are required at the following times: • Central Court: Monday through Thursday, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM • Bernard C. Brominski Building: Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM • Courthouse Annex: Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Services will not be provided on holidays. The Contractor shall assign two (2) Guards to the Bernard C. Brominski Building, and one (1) Guard to each of the Central Court and Courthouse Annex locations. The Guards will be responsible for securing the premises. The Guards shall be proficient in the operation of an x-ray machine, magnetometer, and hand wand to ensure effective screening procedures. This equipment will be provided by Luzerne County. The primary goals of the Guards are to deter, detect, and prevent weapons and contraband from entering the above locations. Specific duties include: a. Conducting thorough screenings of all persons and bags entering the facility. b. Maintaining a professional demeanor and exhibiting diligence and vigilance at all times. c. Responding promptly and appropriately to any security issues or incidents that may arise, if possible.
