Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1) Web services including website design, development, and maintenance. 2) Email and calendaring support, handling technology equipment installations such as printers, web cameras, microphones, and software updates. 3) Maintaining hardware, operating systems, and memory to support applications that are in line with the City of Philadelphia standards, including all security standards and policies established by the Office of Innovation and Technology’s Information Security Group. 4) Troubleshooting and problem resolution for any software and hardware related issues. 5) Acting as a liaison with the Office of Innovation & Technology (OIT) regarding all IT issues including those not under the vendor’s jurisdiction. 6) Acting as a liaison with the hardware vendors to ensure the repair or replacement of parts. 7) Acting as a liaison with software vendors to ensure proper licensing and upgrading of software. 8) Providing live technical support for online web conferencing and public hearings being broadcast online. 9) Working with individual Council offices to expand their use of technology including: • Refresher training in various technology features • Seminars on new technology features • Research and evaluation of new or alternative technology solutions • Assistance on special projects • Design, implementation, and support of constituent databases. 10) Providing hands on support for server and network infrastructure at main and remote locations.
