1. Contractor shall provide snow and ice control services and shall be responsible for the snow removal of snow accumulations of 1"or greater from all sidewalks surfaces to include public and private walkways. Snow removal shall occur no greater than every 2 to 3 inches of accumulations and final cleanup shall occur within 8 hours of the storm's end. All snow accumulations with a 24-hour period shall constitute an event. All sidewalk areas must be accessible at all times, 7 days a week. 2. All walks, handicap ramps, entrances, exits, loading docks, handicap access ramps and store-fronts must be shoveled/snow blown first. All work should be completed prior to business opening at 7am. 3.Salting shall not commence until after all snow shoveling and snow blowing has been completed, this may be amended to treat for when weather conditions may necessitate, i.e.: excessive run-off or ice conditions/ice storms. 5. The contractor hereby agrees that it shall use commercially reasonable efforts to keep all sidewalk areas clean and free of all snow and ice all sidewalk areas. Said sidewalk areas are designated on the site plan which is attached hereto and made a part hereof. 6. Should snowfall continue, contractor will return at regular intervals as needed unless a complete re-salting/clearing of sidewalks is needed and will be invoiced as per the contract. 7. Contractor will dispatch shoveling and salting crews immediately after receiving notice of special removal requests and callbacks by owner. Contractor must arrive within 2 hours of call out. 8. Contractor cannot pile the snow around fire hydrants, entrances, or building all snow must be moved to the curblines/streetside.
