Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. The College intends to enter into an agreement with a contractor to provide professional telecommunication cabling/wiring services on an as-needed basis with no minimum quantity guarantee during the term of this agreement. 2. The College has a need for telecommunication cabling/wiring services for various projects on campus, which is located at 10 South Second Street, Reading, PA 19602. The intent of this RFQ is for bidders to provide the College unit prices for labor by technicians fully experienced and qualified in structured cabling to perform work as directed by a representative of the College. Cabling and wall jack category should be ANSI/TIA 6a with transmission standards of ANSI/TIA-568.2-D | ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA or better Plenum cable must be used when/where appropriate according to code, no copper splicing allowed All runs must be homeruns to MDF/IDFs Patch panels must be modular keystones All cabling to be installed in a neat and workmanlike manner 7 All excess/scrap and packaging material must be removed from the site by the contractor at the end of each work day. 3M Fire Barrier Sealant (CP 25WB+) must be used to seal all wall penetrations. 3. Cabling certification reports will be required for each project. Contractors who cannot provide certification reports are not qualified to submit a quote. 4. Typically, all materials required to perform the work shall be provided by the contractor. 5. The College does not anticipate that any work will be performed by the cable and wiring services contractors during holidays. Also, no overtime hours are anticipated. 6. Purchase Orders
