Contractual security services for the protection of all Housing Authority of the City of Pittsburgh (HACP) or referred to as “Authority”, residents, employees, customers, invitees, management personnel and other assets in or on the development sites (as identified below) against any criminal activity including but not limited to vandalism, theft, trespass, fire, bodily harm, and other events detrimental to the security of such individuals, assets, or property in any of the following location B. The Authority is seeking to qualify one (1) vendor to provide contractual security services at the referenced HACP sites to include six (6) family high-rise buildings and the HACP OneStop Shop. The Contractor shall submit their proposal detailing their availability to provide the required services at all of the sites listed. The Contractor shall provide unarmed Security Guards to patrol all of the above listed locations. One (1) Security Guard shall work simultaneously at each hi-rise/ booth location. There must be at least one (1) Security Guard Supervisor available 24/7. Patrols will consist of canine (if applicable), and foot patrols. C. The Authority reserves the right to increase or decrease the hours, number of Security Guards to be provided at the contracted rate, or the number of properties serviced, to include properties that are in addition to those referenced in this scope of work, by providing a twenty- four (24) hour written notice. The increases and or decreases to the number of Guards to be provided at the contracted rate, the number of properties serviced, to include properties that are in addition to those referenced in this scope of work will be determined by the HACP and based on a variety of factors to include calls for service, crime rates, utilization of Artificial Intelligence (AI), camera deployment, and other measures deemed applicable for crime-effacement strategies.
