This is a synopsis for commercial services prepared in accordance with Federal Acquisition Requirements (FAR) Part 12. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention intends to issue a Request for Quotations (RFQ) for commercial waste removal and recycling services at the National Institute for Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) facilities at Pittsburgh, PA. The purpose of this notice is to identify potential small businesses capable of performing the work identified in the attached Statement of Work. Interested offerors need to meet the requirement to be licensed by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania to provide the waste disposal services.
Specific period of performance, locations, and scope of work details are included in the attached Statement of Work.
The resultant contract will be a firm-fixed price contract with a base year and four 1-year option periods.
The Government anticipates that this will be a 100% small business set-aside under North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code 562111, Solid Waste Collection, and small business size standard of $47 million. Interested offerors are invited to submit their small business size status to the email address listed below.
