Specifications include, but are not limited to: The County anticipates five (5) distinct phases of activities for website development but will entertain other approaches if thought to provide an enhanced plan. At least three (3) meetings with the BCPL Website Redesign Committee and appropriate department staff will be scheduled during the course of the redesign project. The projected phases are: 4.4.1.1 Phase 1 – preliminary/perform needs assessment – meeting with Committee4.4.1.2 Phase 2 – Conceptual design of website – meeting with Committee a. Present recommendations for a CMS and secure Website Redesign Committee approval to use that CMS before building the site b. Provide recommendations for layout and design elements, navigational tools and content pages 4.4.1.3 Phase 3 – Development Phase – final Committee approval c. Refine site architecture and provide recommendations and on hardware and software associated with the redesign d. Provide abbreviated, simple-to-export templates for BCPL member libraries to use for their own websites 4.4.1.4 Phase 4 – Conversion of Existing website and implementation 4.4.1.5 Phase 5 – Training and Initial support e. Proposal shall include basic training to a minimum of 20 staff from BCPL office and member libraries f. Proposal shall include a training plan, timeline and summary of projected user manuals and style guides. g. Proposal shall provide troubleshooting technical support for one year post project completion.
