Specifications include, but are not limited to: 2.1 The successful Bidder(s) (hereinafter called “Vendor(s)”) shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials to perform and complete cleaning and restoration services to residential and commercial properties associated with these types of work as part of PWD’s Cleaning and Restoration Repair Program. The vendor(s) should be prepared to provide these stated services to various customer locations as directed by PWD. Failure to comply with all provisions stated herein will be considered non-performance of this contract. Accordingly, the City may terminate this contract for successful bidder's non-performance. 2.1.1 SERVICE CALL / INITIAL INSPECTION The Vendor(s) shall, visit the work site, perform inspection, and/or commence work within two (2) hours after notification by PWD. This is required for the purpose of surveying the area, determining the scope of work, and commencing work in a timely manner to reduce liability to the City of Philadelphia. The inspection must include moisture readings, identifying category of water source, identifying any new or pre-existing mold, preparing sketch of affected area, and taking digital photos for documentation. 2.1.1.1 SURVEYING EXTENT OF DAMAGES/ MOISTURE READING The Vendor(s) shall examine the damaged area and check levels of moisture by using an intrusive/penetrating (pin type) moisture meter and initiate a plan of action. Additional services may include analytical and advisory inputs for problem resolutions.
