Gooseneck – Trailer must be designed to be towed by a truck with a 48 in. fifth wheel height. Deck Tilt Type – Hydraulic activated deck tilt mechanism. Requirement - Trailer to be capable of tilt operation with towing vehicle jackknifed at a 45° angle to the trailer, without binding in the fifth wheel area. Continuous Deck – When in the 7° tilt position, the main deck and upper deck must form a continuous deck for easy loading of upper deck. Maximum allowable gap between upper and main deck is 2 in. for safety concerns. Pivot Points – All neck pivot pins to have either greaseless poly bushings or a centralized grease point/system for all required grease points. Load Angle - 7° load angle from horizontal.
