Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Contractor must: 1. Provide Caterpillar (CAT) Field-Certified Technicians. Technicians must have two (2) or more years’ experience working on CAT engines and equipment. 2. Use only Caterpillar diagnostic tools, fluids and filters, and Original Equipment Manufactured (OEM) parts and supplies. 3. Provide necessary equipment to service generators and automated transfer switches (ATS) including trucks, tools, manuals, diagnostic equipment, welders, cranes, etc. 4. Provide comprehensive high-quality repairs and preventative maintenance, following recommended service in the Original Maintenance Manual for Caterpillar Generators. 5. Utilize a computerized maintenance history, scheduling and monitoring system and provide a detailed digital service report for each inspection, service, and repair; adhere to National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) 110 guides and regulations to keep records and maintenance levels up to standard. 6. Comply with Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) regulations and Occupational Health and Safety (OSHA) regulations and safety training requirements. 7. Be available twenty-four (24) hours per day, three hundred sixty-five (365) days per year, and offer emergency services. 8. Have a service center in Boise, Meridian, Nampa, or Caldwell Idaho.
