Specifications include, but are not limited to:. This contract is for maintenance repairs of fence on MDOT’s trunkline system. The contractor shall bid on a standardized list of pay items that are common to fence repairs. Specific project locations will not be known at the time of letting and repair locations will be spread sporadically across the jurisdiction area. Locations requiring repair will be logged in ArcGIS by MDOT. The Contractor will be required to use ArcGIS Software to document repairs. Service will either be Standard, or Emergency as referenced herein. Submitted standard Work Orders will need to be completed within 10 calendar days or as directed by the Engineer or his/her designee. Once work has commenced at a given location the contractor must continue operations at that location until the work is completed. Priority Service Mobilization will require the work to start within 12 hours of notification. Once emergency work commences at a specific site, all work must be completed and location open to traffic. Requirements A. General Requirements 1.1 Product Specifications The Contractor through innovation, technology, or other means shall perform and provide the required repair and have adequate qualified staff to complete the requested work determined by the State and otherwise do all things necessary for, or incidental, to the performance of work, including by not limited to: All personnel Equipment Tools Supplies Materials Training and supervision of staff The Contractor shall provide services at the locations described on work orders throughout Wayne County and or as directed by the MDOT Program Manager (PM). The MDOT PM may designate (via email) an alternate person(s) to act on his/her behalf. Use of ArcGIS software will be required for the use of tracking work. All necessary information concerning the specific site will be on each Work Order. Each Work Order will have a unique number automatically created by the ArcGIS system or MDOT PM. All work must be completed by the expiration date of each Work Order as designated in Section 3.1 and 3.2. The Contractor will be required to periodically check the ArcGIS fence repair database for new assignments or to update the status of previous Work Orders. Other methods can be used for issuing Work Orders in lieu of ArcGIS if mutually agreed upon by MDOT and the Contractor. Unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties, Work Orders in ArcGIS are considered written approval henceforth in this contract.
