Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.1.1. Project titled “Santa Fe Community College Sequencing Batch Reactor Wastewater Treatment Plant Closure Plan” for the demolition, abandonment, and closure of the existing SBR WWTP facilities and supplementary wastewater ponds, comprises of Base Bid. 1.1.2. Base Bid: Includes all elements of demolition for the complete decommissioning of the existing treatment facilities. 1.1.3. Cutting, capping, and abandonment in place of all below ground process piping including, all process air piping, influent sewage piping, drying bed drain piping, digested sludge piping, and wastewater effluent piping. 1.1.3.1. Dismantling and disposal of all above ground air process piping, basin air drop piping, air diffusers, pumps, decanters, and all associated process equipment inside the SBR basin. Backfilling of empty basin with native material. 1.1.3.2. Dismantling and disposal of all above ground air process piping, basin air drop piping, air diffusers, pumps, and all associated process equipment inside the Sludge Holding Tank. Backfilling of empty basin with native material. 1.1.3.3. Dismantling and disposal of all process piping, pumps, guide chains, floats, electrical components, and all associated process equipment inside of the 6’ diameter Effluent Lift Station. Backfilling of empty lift station with native material. 1.1.3.4. Cutting, capping, and abandonment in place of all below ground effluent piping to effluent holding ponds. Removal and disposal of existing pond liners in each of the two effluent holding ponds. Ponds to remain as stormwater detention ponds. 1.1.3.5. Dismantling and disposal of all process air handling equipment at existing Blower Room including, interior process air piping, process air blowers and motors, exterior air intakes and piping, and all associated process equipment. All HVAC, electrical panels, electrical meter boxes, and all associated electrical and mechanical appurtenances to remain in place.
