Specifications include, but are not limited to: Public education involves the design and delivery of clear and consistent messages about breast and cervical cancer screening. Targeted outreach relies upon comprehensive, tailored, population-specific strategies designed to reach and bring women into clinical screening services. In-reach involves approaching women who are using other health services (e.g., getting a flu shot, receiving care for diabetes or heart disease, etc.) and recruiting them into clinical cancer screening services. The vendor(s) must conduct focused outreach, based on the scope of work provided, in the community through interpersonal education and community group presentations, and in-reach within participating provider offices, to promote breast and cervical cancer screening and motivate targeted populations to get screened. The vendor(s) should develop or continue strategic partnerships with community partners/organizations to reach priority women to accomplish focused outreach goals. The vendor(s) Scope of Work (SOW) will have goals and objectives, performance indicators, along with timelines for competition. The SOW is designed to measure the goals and objectives and is a continuous monitoring process with a quarterly minimum for reports.
