DECRIPTION OF WORK. Work for this project consists of providing labor and materials to remove existing oil furnace and fuel tank and replace with an electric forced air heat pump for Residence #1001, #1002, and #1003; Residence #1002 shall be considered for an optional item. The 3-ton capacity heat pump shall have a minimum SEER rating of 15, HSPF 8.5, and EER of 12.5. Units shall have a minimum 10 year warranty. Unit must be able to heat and cool an area of 3000 sq. ft.
Typical project work will include at a minimum the removal and disposal of the existing oil-fired furnaces and heating oil tanks. Removal and disposal of blowers, heat pumps, and other equipment. The installation of a new heat pump, condensing unit, and blower with high efficiency rating SEER 15 for a 3-ton capacity unit, with required venting and condensate drain. Contractor will replace existing thermostats with new programmable thermostats. An additional electrical subpanel may be necessary for the new units. New return air duct and outdoor pad will be needed.
PROJECT LOCATON. This requirement is located at the Slate Creek Residence at the Salmon River Ranger Station located on the Nez Perce-Clearwater National Forests. The address is 304 Slate Creek Road, White Bird, ID 83554.
MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT. The estimated price range for the total project is between $25,000 and $100,000.
Period of the Contract. The effective period of this contract is all work shall be completed 15 calendar days from the Notice to Proceed date. All work shall be completed no later than October 1, 2021.
