Specifications include, but are not limited to: Scope of work shall include, but not be limited to: The City of Fort Myers is seeking a qualified and responsible Construction Management at Risk (CMAR) to provide project management, pre-construction, value engineering, constructability review, procurement, permitting, MOPO plans and support, construction, and other related services for the Water Treatment Plant (WTP) Reverse Osmosis (RO) Treatment Improvement Project. This will include tasks and activities such as, but not limited to, scheduling, planning, meetings, pre-qualification of vendors and sub-contractors, solicitation, review, and awarding of bids and contracts to vendors and sub-contractors, assembling and submitting Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) packages to the City, building department and similar permitting (which may include an EPA Air Resource permit), pay applications, Direct Material Purchase Order (DMPO) support, commissioning services, warranty support services, and other related tasks and activities. This project may use funding from The American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) and State Revolving Fund (SRF) for design and/or construction costs for the proposed improvements. The CMAR should be familiar with these types of funding sources and be able to provide support to the City to meet the requirements of the programs. The City seeks to hire a fullservice CMAR who will then bid out various work packages. Evaluation and consideration of submittals will proceed as set forth and required by law.
