Specifications include, but are not limited to: i. The Contractor agrees to provide maintenance and warranty services as specified herein: 1) The Contractor shall provide technical advice and service seven (7) days per week, twenty-four (24) hours per day. 2) The Contractor shall provide a toll-free telephone number to reach the Contractor for scheduled and unscheduled services. 3) Telephone response of two (2) hours and on-site response time of eight (8) hours or less is required. ii. Scheduled maintenance shall be performed on, but not limited to, the UPS system and all components inclusive of rectifiers, inverters, power supplies, switches, fans, filters, module and module cabinets, converters, chargers, static transfer switches, internal bypass lines, control batteries and internal control systems, external batteries, etc. iii. Maintenance shall consist of, but not be limited to, the battery voltage and current readings, adjusting as necessary, checking connections for corrosion and torque, and checking remote alarm/status system operation, in accordance with the UPS maintenance manual and adherence to manufacturer specifications. iv. The Contractor shall maintain battery plant records and make them available on site for customer inspections. v. The Contractor shall provide a completed and signed field service report to TS after each visit. Field service reports must contain, at a minimum, documentation of the information specified in Preventive Maintenance Services in section 6. vi. The Contractor’s personnel shall have access to CHP facilities as specified below, in keeping with security requirements: 1) During normal business hours Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. through 5:00 P.M. 2) For emergency hours, which shall be on an as needed basis per emergency and as pre-approved by TS. 3) The Contractor’s personnel must sign in on the visitor’s log at each service location each time that service is performed, and check-in with the on-site contact person. 4) The Contractor must provide site visit notification at least 96 hours prior to arrival at CHP Communications Centers. Notifications shall be made via email to Telecommunication Section, Technical Support Unit, listing the date and time contractor will be on site at the CHP Communications Centers. A 30-day notice to Information Technology Supervisor I of TS shall be required before operational test shutdown, unless emergency conditions exist.
