Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) is soliciting bids from firms that are able to provide Protective Clothing & Operational Supplies Rental Services; 1. It is understood by both parties that the first month of the agreement will be for the transition of services, specifically for initial set-up to include the sizing and fitting of employees uniforms. During this period Contractor acknowledges that only initial set-up fees may be billed during this time, if applicable. Actual rental and laundering services shall commence the following month. 2. Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Baldwin Park Area office, the services described herein: furnish all protective clothing and operational supplies, personnel, labor (including, but not limited to, the pick-up and delivery of goods), materials, tools, equipment, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other costs associated with the work to be performed in accordance with this Agreement. All pick-up and delivery shall be performed once per week on a mutually agreed upon designated day during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., except for official state observed holidays. Should a regularly scheduled day fall on a state holiday the Contract Manager and or Contact Person shall agree upon an alternate day for the pick-up and the delivery of protective clothing. v
