Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Delaware will lease agricultural lands known as land in and around the Beck Tract of Blackbird State Forest, subject to the following: TERM OF LEASE The term of this lease is for seven (7) crop seasons commencing on the 1st day of April 2023 and terminating on the 31st day of December 2029, without written notice of such termination, unless sooner terminated as herein provided. The Department of Agriculture reserves the right to raise the land rent up to (25%) of the current rate after December 31st, 2024. The percentage shall take effect for the remaining (5) years if the lessee agrees to the new terms. ACREAGE Fields that are designated and offered for lease by DFS are 87 acres +/-. The DFS does not guarantee the exact acres of the land for lease.
