Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources (DNR), requests Bids for the purchase of Wisconsin State Park Stickers; 4.1.1 INK: All printing, numbering and design work on the stickers shall be done using sun resistant inks which will stay in good legible condition for a minimum of one year after application. A clear protective over coat for protection of sticker is to be applied to the backside of sticker (numbered side) after number and narrative has been printed on sticker. Protective coating must protect the label and printing from solutions used to clean windows. Ink color density must be uniform and consistent throughout run. Ink must adhere to sticker without chipping or flaking off during application or use. Provide sample swatch of fade resistant ink colors available. 4.1.2 LINER: The protective liner which is placed over the adhesive is to be an easy release, silicone treated Kraft. Liner must have low elongation and high strength. Liner can be translucent or opaque. The liner as well as the base material must not wrinkle in changing humidity and will stay flat at all times and corners must not curl when the liner is removed. The liner must be finished cleanly and slit horizontally for easy removal. Liner and adhesive must cover the entire face of the sticker portion. 4.1.3 SIZE: 2 3/4” x 3 ¼” which includes a perforated ½” stub on top of sticker. Perforation to stock must be applied so that stickers can be removed easily from the book without tearing through the sticker itself, yet strong enough to prevent stickers from falling out of the books. Sticker detached should be 2 ¾” x 2 ¾”. Back index cover to be 2 ¾” x 3 ¼” and not perforated. The exception to this would be the Conservation Patron Sticker. These stickers are 2 ¾” x 2 ¾” cut into singles, no stub and no perforation.
