Specifications include, but are not limited to: New Castle County is seeking sealed bids for trash removal and recycling from New Castle County regional parks, recreational facilities, building locations, sites, and assist with community cleanup initiatives. To remove all trash using waste removal trucks and perform work in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws, licenses, and regulations. Waste removal trucks are to be equipped with a back-up warning alarm. To furnish all labor, materials, supplies and transportation necessary to provide containers, dumpsters, bins, compactors, or other receptacles used for the deposit of trash, unless otherwise specified by New Castle County. Containers shall have access openings for ease of depositing refuse and shall be mechanically enclosed to prevent blowing and scavenging of refuse. Lids and doors must fit properly so they will close securely. Lid stops shall be maintained so as to prevent lids from falling behind containers.
