All correspondence must be made through the Vendor Portal. Specifications include, but are not limited to: ) Requirements for Curb a) Curb dimensions are 40 inches x 8 inches x 2 inches, and weighs a minimum of 6.5 lbs. b) Curb is made from injected molded polymer that is durable and resistant to UV light, and hydrocarbons. c) Curb is equipped with a quick release post socket feature allowing the post to be removed from the curb without the use of tools. Hardware for socket shall have zinc plated shoulder bolts and quick release pull pin. d) Curb and post system is MASH 2016 accepted. e) Curb and post system shall be Category 1 Self Certified. 3) Color a) Curb must be yellow. 4) Anchor a) Three mechanical anchors will be provided with curb. b) All hardware required to secure the curb, per manufacturer’s instructions shall be supplied by the vendor. These items will be incidental. 5) Reflectivity a) Two curved glass reflectors installed in curb and match color of curb. 6) Requirement for Delineator Post a) Post shall be 42 inch long, capped to prevent debris from entering, with two 3-inch-wide bands of reflective sheeting. Retroreflective sheeting shall comply with ASTM 4956 Type IV. Post color and reflective sheeting shall be the same as the curb. Post spring mechanism shall be quick release that works with curb as part of the system.
