Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Delaware is seeking proposals in response to this solicitation from vendors experienced in providing emergency response and remediation services for potential Explosive, Chemical, Biological, NonHazardous, and Nuclear/Radiological Emergencies that can be addressed through means not limited to hazard identification, containment, decontamination, remediation, transportation disposal and demobilization. The objective of the resulting contract is to provide the State with routine and emergency response services for special waste, and potentially hazardous material spills including the required cleanup activities and removal of contamination from spill areas. Once the material is removed, the Contractor will treat and dispose of hazardous wastes adhering to EPA standards for treatment and disposal of the wastes. The selected Contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, supplies, materials, analytical testing (if required), documentation, supervision, and delivery of same to perform emergency response and remediation services. Proposals are requested considering the categories below identifying your capabilities to meet varying Emergency situations. • Oil (water and land) • Biological (Ebola included) • Hazardous Material • Nuclear/Radiological • Explosive • Non-Hazardous Material/Solid Waste The State makes no guarantee as to the number or frequency of the spills and Contractor will be requested to provide services on an "as needed" basis only.
