Specifications include, but are not limited to: WATER MAIN FITTINGS: − AWWA C110-Latest Edition, Class 250 cast iron mechanical joint pipe fittings, cement lined, all bells, with accessories, entire fittings tarred. − Ductile iron fittings meeting above C110 specifications are acceptable. − Gaskets shall be armor-tipped conductive M.J. (no lead). − Bolts shall be CorTen. − Flanges, gaskets, bolts and nuts shall be furnished in individually packaged kits, except 6” and 8” fittings shall be furnished with gaskets, bolts, and nuts only (no flanges). − Bolts shall be manufactured from corrosion-resistant, high-strength, low-alloy steel in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11, that has a baked-on ceramic-filled fluorocarbon resin, which handles the needs of highly corrosive conditions. − Conductivity copper straps, 1.5” X 36” with pre-drilled bolt holes (0.812”) at each end. Capable of handling 500 amps. Or equal. − Polyethylene Encasement Requirements: V-Bio Enhanced Polyethylene Encasement, or Engineer approved equivalent. − Friction Clamps (Socket Clamps)
