Specifications include, but are not limited to: Material Requirements – VALVES: − Butterfly Valves (16” and larger) shall meet the requirements of AWWA C504 - latest edition − Valve Accessory/Fastening Kits, consisting of: Armor Tip Conductivity Mechanical Joint Gaskets (no lead) and glands. Bolts shall be bid and furnished separately from the valve, and supplied following the quantities indicated on ‘Form A: Price Proposal’ of this bid. − Bolts shall be manufactured from corrosion-resistant, high-strength, low-alloy steel in accordance with ANSI/AWWA C111/A21.11, that has a baked-on ceramic-filled fluorocarbon resin, which handles the needs of highly corrosive conditions. − Valve Adaptors are not to be furnished with the valve (Adaptor Inc. valve adaptors, or equal). o See RFT “VALVE BOX ADAPTORS” for Valve Box Adaptors, bid separately.
