Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. This project will be a design-build style project, as detailed construction plans are not available. It will be the Contractor’s responsibility to provide bids based from this standards and specifications document. B. Location of Hickorywood Farms Park is 1200 Mamerow Lane, Oconomowoc, WI 53066. (see attached map). Excavation site for the new half-court basketball court will be South of the park playground. C. This work shall include all work necessary to build the court. All spoils shall be removed and disposed of in its entirety. D. Existing tree pruning/removals shall be the responsibility of the City to perform. It is the Contractor’s responsibility to communicate any pruning needs to the City. E. Work shall include all labor, tools, equipment, supplies, protection of public and private utilities, engineering, permitting, and other services required to perform the contract per the enclosed specifications. F. Basketball court shall be half-court in size, approximately 53 ft long x 53 ft wide with the basketball hoop located on the East end of the court. F. All disrupted turf from the construction process shall be repaired and replaced with six inches (6”) of quality sifted topsoil, grass seed and cover per City specifications. G. The Contractor shall be responsible to repair and replace all damage done to adjacent areas; all repairs shall be completed to the satisfaction of the City. H. Completion of the work shall be within a 10-week timeframe with liquidated damages of $250/day beyond the project schedule. Targeted completion date by September 29, 2023, subject to weather and start date.
