Specifications include, but are not limited to: Milwaukee Transport Services (MTS), operator of the Milwaukee County Transit System (MCTS), is a quasi-governmental instrumentality of Milwaukee County. MTS is selling several New Flyer 40’ low floor diesel transit buses as surplus. These buses are considered non-runners. Items for Sale: TEN (10) 40’ low floor New Flyer diesel buses. All 10 buses have been prepped for disposition, all the buses have had the radio, cameras, serviceable tires, batteries, refrigerant, fareboxes etc. removed. The buses have exceeded the minimum years in service and minimum mileage required by the FTA for selling/scraping of buses. Please note that they are 40' buses and Josh Solorio/Jason Riley will represent Maintenance in this process. The buses are powered by a Cummins ISL 9 engine, and some of the transmissions have been removed. Many of these buses have parts missing or damaged. These are all non-runners.
