Specifications include, but are not limited to: Project includes that the contractor shall perform all necessary removal, disposal, inspection of boiler stack that is approximately 25’ of 24” round cement lined vent stack and remove lower “T” on lower level and the piping that enters the boiler room and provide crane service to pull the old stack out through the roof. Temporary exhaust for boilers to be installed to exit through boiler room next to outside dampers, the boiler system should NOT be shut down due to leaking at joints when boiler is turned off. Install heat fab model CI Plus, 18” double wall AL29-4C Stainless steel wall, UL listed 1738. Pieces to include straight and adjustable sections, elbow, drain section, guy sections, tall cone flashing storm collar, and screened termination. First floor penetration will be UL fire stopped to code. Carpentry work to be included in the bid for opening wall for removal and installation of boiler stack, drywall repairs, and ceiling / ceiling tile repairs. Any damage or repairs done to the roof will be done by an certified licensed roofing contractor. Permit to be pulled by the contractor however, City of Mequon will waive any permit fees. Any additional work discovered after boiler stack removal must have an hourly charge rate in the contract, work must be approved by City of Mequon building superintendent Justin Bodoh.
