Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Mequon is seeking cost and qualifications proposals for the replacement of four (4) window lintels on the east wall, and three (3) window lintels on the south wall of the South Conference room, at City Hall, 11333 N. Cedarburg Road. Proposals should be all encompassing, listing all necessary demo, new material, removal of old material, and cleanup at project completion. • Demolition o Remove the first 3 courses of brick masonry above each opening and dispose of brick off site. Approximately 250 bricks to be removed. o Remove damaged lintels and dispose of offsite. • Installation o Replace 4 lintels on east wall and 3 lintels on south wall with similar stainless-steel sections. o Through wall flashing to be installed. o New brick to be relayed with weep holes. (City to provide new brick, approximately 250) o New brick to be laid in pattern that matches the existing brick. o Worksite to be cleaned daily. The project is expected to begin in mid-late spring, pending lead-time(s) and contractor availability. Construction work on this project is allowed daily between 5:00 AM and 5:00 PM., with an owner-approved schedule to mitigate employee/office disruption.
