Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design and build a cold storage building (pole barn) at the New Highway Shop site on St. Joseph’s, east of La Crosse, Wisconsin. Form and pour concrete pad. Type and thickness to be determined during design phase. Initial plan is either 7” concrete with structural fibers or 6” with #4 rebar 12” oc. Design and provide all material and construct a 50’ by 85’ storage pole building. The size is based on another existing building owned by La Crosse County. Size could be modified during design process. Building location 1. Work with County staff to determine best orientation of building within site Building shall include One (1) entry service door Two (2) garage door, 14 ‘high by 12’ wide. One (1) centered at each end. Two (2) garage door, 10 ‘high by 10’ wide. One (1) centered at each side. Total height of building and internal clearance to be determined during design. For purposes of estimating assume inside clearance height to be 16’. The size, type, and number of doors will also be evaluated during design process. Bid with sizes and quantities listed above. All items listed above subject to change once a contractor is selected and we go through the design process.
