Specifications include, but are not limited to: MPS is seeking a kitchen consultant to provide foodservice facility and equipment consulting services for current kitchen equipment needs and future kitchen renovations at elementary, middle schools and high school locations across the District. This includes 142 kitchen sites within the District. The successful firm shall provide all materials, supplies, labor, delivery, insurance, technical assistance, and any other items necessary to accomplish the work; Visit 142 kitchen sites in the District and assist District staff in identifying school kitchen facility needs by preparing a draft scope for each kitchen project. Provide an assessment of existing foodservice equipment and systems to allow for creating a long-range district wide food service equipment plan. Develop an equipment replacement survey for each site Create an equipment template to ensure all kitchens have the same basic equipment for ease of menu development Prioritize kitchens that need immediate equipment replacement or equipment additions versus those that can be delayed and purchased at another time
