Specifications include, but are not limited to: The State of Delaware, Government Support Services, on behalf of the Delaware Developmental Disabilities Council, seeks professional services to develop and conduct a survey, key informant interviews, and host a series of focus groups to help in the gathering of data which will assist with the development of a training curriculum highlighting the issues relating to affordable, accessible, integrated housing for individuals with disabilities in Delaware. The Vendor will administer both Consumer Satisfaction surveys and a Stakeholder survey, under the direction of the Advocacy and Outreach Committee, then send them to the DD Council. • In Phase One: o Work with the DDC Advocacy and Outreach committee to review the overall expectations of this contract. Consult with the committee as well as the DDC staff for input to properly execute this contract. o Work with potential stakeholders to identify individuals with lived disability experience who are willing to share their stories through a variety of outreach efforts: key informant interviews, surveys and virtual or in person focus groups. Some key questions to ask could include: (e.g.- Is the information being shared able to be understood? Is it available in plain language? Is it easily accessible to all?). The individuals chosen will include people with developmental disabilities (DD) and their families. Participants should come from a diverse backgrounds (to include representation from, but not limited to different types of: race, age, gender identity, residents of both urban/rural areas, different types of disability, etc.).
