Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this Request for Proposal (“RFP”) is to obtain information that will assist the State of Wisconsin Investment Board (“SWIB”) in making a decision regarding its retention and use of a consultant to assist SWIB with recruiting and hiring for a vacancy in the position of Chief Technology Officer of the Technology Division (the “Position”). In consultation with SWIB, analyze the Position description and the investment needs of SWIB, including future strategy and direction, for the purpose of identifying important competencies, knowledge, education, and experience necessary for the successful candidate, and establishing appropriate screening criteria. Advise and assist SWIB in developing and implementing a recruitment plan to identify, evaluate, qualify and recommend competitive candidates for consideration. Actively promote SWIB and the Position in order to attract qualified candidates and help market the opportunity. Act on SWIB’s behalf to generate the largest pool of qualified candidates possible and generate candidate excitement for the Position. Proactively identify and contact passive candidates who possess competencies, knowledge, education and experience that are appropriate for the Position. Review and evaluate applications/resumes from all sources. This may include candidates from other recent and relevant searches performed by the consultant, candidates provided by SWIB, and/or any other means used by the consultant or SWIB to develop names of candidates.
